Rotating dryer model DELTA
The ROTATING Dryer mod. DELTA is suitable for drying hazelnuts, chestnuts, walnuts, almonds, wood chips, coffee, macadamia nuts, etc. The structure consists of a cylinder that rotates on itself through a horizontal rotary motion and allows the product to move continuously within itself: the product is thus homogeneously and fully dried. A diesel boilder generates hot air with a temperature range from 20° to 90° C : temperature adjustment is carried out by means of an external thermostat. This leads to two big benefits: shorter drying time and significant lower energy costs. The machine is housed into an iron frame complete with rollers by means of which the dryer turns on itself; the engine that generates the movement of the cylinder is also housed in the frame. The machine is fitted with a rotation adjustment system, that is a hydraulic flow variator and a rotation inverter. The inverter causes the automatic unloading of the product through a lower auger.
